Frequently Asked Questions

General

Where is Presa based?

Presa is based in Los Angeles, California. Mural and installation projects are completed on site at your location. She travels for select projects within California and nationally.

What kind of work does Presa accept?

Presa accepts commissions for large-scale murals, custom canvas paintings, and site-specific installations. She works with luxury hospitality groups, global brands, private collectors, and cultural institutions. Each project is reviewed individually, not all inquiries are accepted.

How do Presa begin the process?

Submit an inquiry through the form on this site. Presa reviews all inquiries personally and responds within five business days if your project is a good fit. From there, a paid Design Discovery Session is scheduled to assess your space and vision before any commitment is made.

Murals & Installations

What is the minimum investment for a mural commission?

Mural commissions begin at $10,000 for single-wall projects. Pricing scales based on surface area, complexity, location, and site conditions. Each commission includes concept development, design, all materials and labor, full insurance coverage, and professional photography upon completion.

What is the Design Discovery Session?

The Design Discovery Session is a paid 45-minute consultation to assess your space, understand your vision, and determine whether the project is the right fit. The session fee is $500 and is applied in full toward your commission if the project moves forward. It is scheduled by invitation after your inquiry has been reviewed.

Is there a design fee?

Yes. A design retainer of $1,500 is required to initiate the creative process. This covers one primary concept and up to two refinements and is applied in full toward your project investment.

How long does a mural take to complete?

Production timelines depend on the scale and complexity of the project and are confirmed during the Design Discovery Session. Smaller single-wall projects typically require two to five days of production. Larger or multi-wall installations require more time. The full timeline, including design and approvals, is outlined in your project agreement.

Does Presa travel for projects?

Yes. Presa is based in Los Angeles but accepts select projects nationally. Travel, lodging, and per diem are added to the project quote when applicable.

Can the design incorporate existing brand colors or interior design?

YesYes. Presa regularly works with brand palettes, existing interiors, and architectural constraints. Share your brand guidelines, hex codes, and reference images during the Design Discovery Session and she will develop a concept that is cohesive with your environment.

Paintings & Canvas Commissions

What is the minimum investment for a custom painting?

Custom painting commissions begin at $5,000. A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your place in the schedule.

Can I commission a work inspired by an existing piece?

Yes. Presa does not recreate original works exactly, but she can create a new piece inspired by the same energy, color language, and symbolism; tailored specifically to your space and intentions.

Payments & Policies

How do deposits and payments work?

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your production date and begin the design phase. The remaining balance is due upon completion. For larger institutional projects, payment schedules are outlined in the project agreement.

What payment methods are accepted?

Major credit cards are accepted for deposits and smaller commissions. Bank transfer or check is preferred for larger institutional projects. Details are provided in your invoice.

What is the refund policy?

Deposits are non-refundable as they reserve time and resources. In some circumstances, credits or schedule adjustments may be available depending on advance notice given. Full terms are outlined in your project agreement.

Copyright & Usage

Who owns the copyright to the commissioned work?

Presa Hall retains copyright to all works. As a client, you receive the right to display the work in your space. Any additional usage; including reproduction on products, in advertising, or in commercial media; requires a separate licensing agreement.

Can we photograph or film the work in progress?

Yes, for most projects. Presa also documents her commissions professionally for her portfolio and archive. Any confidentiality requirements can be addressed in the project agreement prior to production beginning.
