Commission a Work
Presa works with a select number of clients each year on murals, paintings, and site-specific installations. Projects are chosen based on the quality of the space, the ambition of the vision, and the potential for the work to be genuinely significant. If that describes your project, she wants to hear from you.
1. Inquiry
Submit a project inquiry through the form on this site. Presa reviews all inquiries personally. Not all projects are accepted. If your project is a good fit, you will receive a response within five business days.
2. Design Discovery Session
Every commission begins with a paid Design Discovery Session, a 45-minute conversation to assess your space, understand your vision, and determine whether the project is the right fit. The session fee is $500 and is applied in full toward your commission if the project moves forward. If it is not the right fit, you leave with professional insight into your space and clarity on the direction. The Design Discovery Session is booked by invitation only after your inquiry has been reviewed.
3. Design Development
Following the Discovery Session, Presa develops a concept for your space. This phase includes one primary concept and up to two refinements. The design retainer is $1,500 and is applied in full toward your project investment.
4. Production
Once the design is approved and the project deposit is received, Presa schedules production. All materials, labor, insurance coverage, and professional equipment are included. Production timelines are confirmed during the Discovery Session based on project scope.
5. Delivery & Documentation
Upon completion, every commission is professionally photographed and documented. You receive a certificate of completion with project details for your records.
Investment
Mural commissions begin at $10,000 for single-wall projects and scale based on surface area, complexity, and site conditions. Each commission includes concept development, design, all materials and labor, full insurance coverage, and documented photography upon completion.
Custom painting commissions begin at $5,000.
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your production date. The balance is due upon completion.
Additional fees may apply for travel outside the Los Angeles area, wall preparation, scaffolding or lift rental, and specialty treatments such as anti-graffiti coatings or gold leaf application.
